Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Property Claims professional to manage exposures for North American Property units and guide claim decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Underwriting, Actuarial, Operations, and Finance, handling high-volume workflows and complex coverage questions. CPCU designation is preferred and applicable travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant claims experience with increasing responsibility.
• Direct experience handling Commercial Property and E&S Property claims, including quota-share, shared/layered, and excess claims.
• Preference for candidates pursuing or holding CPCU designation.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows effectively, including during catastrophic events.
• Strong collaboration across departments, especially Underwriting and Actuarial.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, written, organizational, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Actuary, Cede Re, Underwriting, Operations, Finance, and other functional groups.
• Maintain compliance with best practices and procedures.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and agents.
• Support additional duties and travel as needed.

• Construction/property estimating experience is a plus
• Experience with Guidewire, Genius, or ImageRight is a plus
