Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Commercial Property Claims Adjuster to manage and resolve complex property claims in Cincinnati, OH. Lead investigations, assess coverage, and coordinate with underwriters while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate and maintain commercial property claims, including medium to significant exposure or complexity claims.
• Review and evaluate coverage, including drafting Reservations of Rights and coverage DISCLAIMERS.
• Secure and analyze reports, policies, appraisals, releases, statements, and other claim documents.
• Develop and implement resolution strategies for complex cases.
• Drive and support investigation strategies on first-party and subrogation matters.
• Work toward claim resolution and attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary.
• Establish reserves and negotiate settlements within prescribed limits.
• Submit recommendations to supervisors on cases exceeding personal authority.
• Communicate complex coverage information, decisions, and outcomes to appropriate parties.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim payments.
• Ensure compliance with statutes, regulations, legal requirements, company procedures, and policies.
• Interact with underwriting and marketing regarding claims trend issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced adjusters and other functional areas.
• Participate in claims projects or project components as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
