Job summary

Marsden Services is seeking a senior risk management professional to lead company-wide workers’ compensation programs, casualty lines, leaves, and return-to-work initiatives. The role focuses on reducing absenteeism and financial impact through program design, oversight, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include managing the claims lifecycle, quarterly reviews with TPA and leadership, OSHA compliance, vendor oversight, and development of training programs to enhance policy adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management, industrial relations, HR or related field.
• Eight+ years of experience with GL, Auto, and Workers' Compensation programs in challenging jurisdictions (e.g., CA, LA, FL).
• Associate ARM or CRM designation preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to management and staff.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Casualty Lines of Insurance Claims (50%) including reserving, third-party administrator oversight, and program compliance.
• Conduct action-oriented quarterly claim reviews with TPA, Risk Management leadership, and broker.
• Manage life cycle of claims from intake to resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure OSHA reporting/compliance and maintain records as required.
• Develop and implement audit procedures for TPA performance and compliance.
• Oversee light-duty/return-to-work policies to optimize workforce utilization.
• Create and deliver training programs to improve compliance and reduce unscheduled absences.
• Perform cost analyses and work with actuarial partners on loss runs and accruals.
