Job summary

Society Insurance is seeking an experienced Claims Manager (Workers' Compensation) to lead a team of claims professionals, ensuring timely handling, analysis, and quality outcomes for policyholders and injured workers.

In this exempt, full-time role you will partner with underwriting, risk control, and marketing to improve processes, oversee operations, monitor metrics, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 10+ years of complex workers’ compensation claims handling.
• Or 14+ years of multi-line claims including field claims, coverage analysis, and supervision.
• Licensing as required by Society and relevant state requirements.
• Professional designations such as CPCU/AIC/CIC are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, oversight, and support to a team of claims professionals.
• Promote consistent, effective claim handling and quality outcomes for policyholders and injured workers.
• Collaborate with underwriting, risk control, and marketing to improve processes and staff development.
• Monitor data, dashboards, and audits to drive strategic goals and cost efficiency.
• Develop training programs and mentor staff to enhance claims staff capabilities.
