Job summary

Society Insurance seeks an experienced Claims Manager to lead our Workers’ Compensation team. In this leadership role, you will provide direction, oversight, and support to a team of claims professionals while promoting consistent, effective claim handling and quality outcomes for policyholders, injured workers, agency partners, and the organization.

You will collaborate with internal partners, identify opportunities to improve processes, and help foster a culture of accountability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• 10+ years in complex workers’ compensation claims in IL/IN/CO/MN/WI/TX or 14 years in multi-line claims

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion, analysis, and reporting of quality reviews and mentoring of claims staff.
• Manage team on file handling, engagement, growth in knowledge, and career development.
• Assist Director of Claims in selection, orientation, training, and development of staff.
• Analyze processes for compliance and implement revisions with technical teams.
• Oversee claims support operations and enforce productivity standards.
• Provide oversight on damages, coverage, and liability while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop training programs with Director of Claims and identify expert speakers.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Risk Control, and Marketing on claims trends.
• Attend continuing education to stay current with regulatory changes.
