Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a qualified professional to join our National Risk Control/Claims and Risk Consulting team in the United States. The role focuses on advocating for complex clients, managing large claims, and delivering expert risk and claims guidance across markets.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in Safety, Risk, or Insurance, plus strong communication skills and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience and 5+ years in Safety, Risk, or Insurance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to obtain licenses in states where business is conducted; moderate travel required.

Responsibilities

• Advise and cover large and complex claims; document all pertinent activity.
• Consult with clients and brokers on claims and coverage issues.
• Facilitate client meetings and claims reviews; negotiate reserve changes for favorable outcomes.
• Provide status reports and review action plans and reserves with client costs in mind.
• Research and obtain claims information from clients and carriers; communicate with all parties.
