Job summary

Vega Claims in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Claims Recovery Adjuster to strengthen our growing claims program. You will manage recovery for first and third party claims including cargo, collaborating with a nationwide team in a hybrid role that supports both New York and Atlanta offices.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in auto/transport claim adjudication and at least 3 years in insurance recovery/subrogation, with an active adjuster license. Strong communication and ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in auto and/or transportation claim adjudication.
• At least 3 years of exclusive insurance recovery and subrogation experience.
• Active adjusters license in home or designated home state.
• Consistently exceeds targets including cycle time and recovery rates.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review coverage and damage analysis.
• Review and provide input on liability decisions and recovery opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Claims team and leadership.
• Provide recommendations on settlement negotiations and recovery litigation management.
• Utilize data available to drive focus on claim trends.
• Handle special projects or additional duties as an individual contributor.
