Vega Claims is building a robust active talent pipeline for claims adjusters in a hybrid role that moves into the Atlanta office. You will handle first and third party claims, including cargo, audits, and drive claim success with third-party administrators.

The team is distributed across OH, NY, GA, and Chile and values technical excellence. The role requires 5+ years of auto claims handling, a current adjuster license, and NY licensing within 3 months.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of auto claims handling experience.
• Active adjuster license in home state; New York licensing required within first 3 months.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bias-to-action and ownership mindset.
• Proven collaboration across distributed teams and in high-growth/start-up environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage based on loss facts.
• Make liability decisions including comparative negligence.
• Collaborate with claims leadership on severity, reserves and evaluations.
• Negotiate settlements with first and third party claimants.
• Use data to identify claim trends and insights.
• Handle special projects as an individual contributor in the claims organization.
• Collaborate across departments to pilot and test innovations.
