Vega seeks an experienced Claims Recovery Adjuster to strengthen our claims organization. You will manage recovery across first and third party claims, including cargo, as part of a distributed team with offices in New York and Atlanta. This hybrid role will primarily operate from the Atlanta area.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in auto/transport claim adjudication and 3+ years in exclusive recovery. An active adjuster license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of auto and/or transportation claim adjudication.
• At least 3 years of exclusive insurance recovery and subrogation experience.
• Active adjuster license in home state or designated state.
• Consistently exceeds targets including cycle time and recovery rates.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bias-to-action and ownership mentality; able to work in a fast-growth startup.

Responsabilités

• Review coverage and damage analysis.
• Input on liability decisions and recovery opportunities.
• Collaborate with Claims leadership and team.
• Recommend settlement negotiations and recovery litigation management.
• Use data to focus on claim trends.
• Handle special projects as an individual contributor.
