Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises, the largest club within the national AAA federation, is seeking a Claims Workforce Operations Manager in Costa Mesa, CA. You will support executive management in planning, policy development, and overall administrative operations for the Claims unit.

You will lead initiatives, manage budgets, ensure compliance, coordinate cross-functional projects, and mentor staff, with responsibilities spanning reporting, analytics, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7–9 years in budgetary/financial analysis, business performance, or operations management.
• 4–6 years in management/supervisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, incl. Outlook, Word, Excel; MS Project/Publisher desired.
• Able to multitask, meet deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience interfacing with Senior Management and analyzing large data sets.
• Knowledge of Claims applications (MRM Portal, Claims Portal, Business Objects, Tableau) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives including scoping, analysis, costs/benefits, and tracking results.
• Develop and implement operating procedures, reporting formats, budgets, and plans.
• Coordinate projects and daily activities with other areas; manage project plans and milestones.
• Oversee staff in analytics, budgeting, ad-hoc analyses, and reporting; ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff; enforce policies with HR input.
• Review financial and capital expenditure decisions for profitability and alignment.
