Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to lead investigation of injury claims, including high-risk and attorney-represented cases. You will gather information, assess coverage, liability, and the total value of each claim, coordinating with police, medical professionals, claimants and other parties.

This hybrid role requires about four days per month in office for meetings and coaching; option to work more in-office if preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases.
• Consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others to gather information.
• Determine coverage, liability and total value of the claim.
