Jobot is seeking a Sr Civil/Structural Engineer to lead our structural design/build team in a hybrid role. You will supervise projects from concept through completion, mentor staff, and serve as the technical lead in client meetings while ensuring QA/QC and compliance with applicable codes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial design/build, PE license, and strong leadership capabilities. Hybrid work with competitive compensation and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) Required
• ABET-accredited BS in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 10+ years of Civil/Structural Design/Build experience in Power Plants, Chemicals, or Manufacturing facilities
• Engineer of Record (EOR) able to provide professional seal for governmental permitting procedures
• Advanced knowledge of building codes as they relate to civil/structural design
• Experience as a project manager on civil/structural projects
• Data from field observations, including working at heights via ladder or personnel lifts
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, STAAD, STAAD Foundation, Bluebeam and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Tekla Tedds, Hilti PROFIS, RAM Elements and other drafting software is helpful but not required
