Job summary

Turner Mining Group in the United States is seeking an experienced Civil Site Superintendent to lead large-scale site development from preconstruction through completion. You will oversee earthwork, utilities, paving, grading, and phased construction, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

This role involves both pursuit and execution: reviewing plans during bidding, then directing field operations, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and owners, and mentoring field teams

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Civil Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large sitework/civil packages.
• Strong background in bulk earthwork, grading, pipe, utilities, paving, and site development.
• Ability to read/interpret civil plans and collaborate with estimating.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for large civil/site development projects.
• Manage complex site packages including earthwork, utilities, paving.
• Support estimating by reviewing plans and constructability.
• Oversee daily site activities, crews, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
• Track progress, materials, production, and field documentation.
• Identify and resolve field issues and schedule conflicts.
