Job summary

Turner Mining Group seeks a senior leader to provide overall administrative and technical direction for a large, complex project. You may direct several smaller projects through subordinate managers and hold ultimate authority on the assigned project.

Responsibilities include overseeing construction to meet design, budget, and schedule, interfacing with client representatives, A/E, unions, and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to policies and safety programs. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10–15 years of industry experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction, policies, procedures, standards, and union labor agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, supervisory and planning abilities.
• Willing and able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total construction effort to ensure project aligns with design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise activities of all personnel on assigned project(s).
• Authorize all project personnel transactions and change requests.
• May assist in union negotiations as required.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, standards; interpret as needed.
• Maintain official project log and documentation files.
• Assist with safety program implementation and interpretation.
• Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
• Maintain a clean, insurable driving record.
