Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking an experienced Operations Superintendent to lead field operations across mining and heavy civil projects. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires managing crews, coordinating equipment and production, solving real-time operational problems, and stepping into heavy equipment when needed to keep projects moving.

The position involves significant travel to project locations; housing will be provided while assigned to each project.

Qualifications

• Significant field leadership experience in mining or large-scale earthmoving projects.
• Experience supervising crews and coordinating equipment to meet production goals.
• Strong understanding of mining and heavy civil operations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations across mining and heavy civil projects.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources to meet production and schedule requirements.
• Develop and execute daily and weekly work plans based on project priorities.
• Monitor production progress and adjust operations as field conditions change.
• Identify bottlenecks, equipment limitations, and field challenges; implement practical solutions.
• Maintain a strong field presence and ensure work progresses safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate earthmoving, excavation, grading, haulage, site development, and related activities.
