Job summary

Turner Mining Group is hiring an Operations Superintendent to lead field operations for mining and heavy civil projects. This hands-on role requires coordinating crews, equipment, and production while solving real-time field problems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive earthmoving experience, a strong ability to troubleshoot on site, and a proven track record of safety and efficiency in heavy-industry settings. This is a travel-heavy, field-facing leadership position.

Qualifications

• Significant field experience in mining or large-scale earthmoving operations.
• Experience supervising crews and coordinating equipment in harsh field environments.
• Strong knowledge of excavation, earthmoving, grading, haulage, and production workflows.
• Proven ability to diagnose field issues and make timely operational decisions under pressure.
• Working knowledge of MSHA regulations and mining safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations across mining and heavy civil projects.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources to meet production and schedule requirements.
• Develop and execute daily and weekly work plans based on project priorities.
• Monitor production progress and adjust operations as field conditions change.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement practical field solutions to maintain schedule.
• Maintain a strong field presence and supervise foremen, operators, and crews.
