Zusammenfassung

STV is seeking a Senior Civil/Roadway Project Manager for our Transportation division in North Carolina. The role will lead design and project management for municipal, local, and NCDOT transportation projects, ensuring quality deliverables on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a 10+ year background in roadway or bridge design, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and an active NC PE license.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in roadway or bridge design
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required
• NC PE license is required
• Experience in project management and design of intersections, roundabouts, interchanges, widenings, and bike/ped facilities
• Open Roads Designer experience is a plus
• Experience with NCDOT and NC municipalities
• Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction

Aufgaben

• Provide project management and professional design services for transportation improvement projects for municipal agencies, local governments, and NCDOT
• Manage design, provide senior-level functional designs, and provide QC for roadway geometry and details, drainage, work zone traffic control, pavement markings, and signing for transportation infrastructure
• Interact with client management teams, engineers in other technical disciplines, and marketing teams
• Coordinate design development and assisting with technical direction to other design staff
• Coordinate with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget
• Assist with the development of specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
• Work with practice and office leadership, client development, business development and industry participation to advance your career and STV’s growth
• Facilitate and lead project meetings both within STV and with clients
• Create, maintain, and monitor scopes, fees, schedules, staffing projections, risk registers, sub agreements, QC records, deliverable submittals, and invoices
• Establish working relationships and interface with client technical staff and client project managers
• Mentor supporting Civil design staff
