Job summary

STV, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Senior Civil/Roadway Project Manager to lead transportation design projects for municipal agencies and NCDOT.

You will manage design and QC for roadway geometry, drainage, traffic control, signs, and pavement markings, coordinating with client teams and marketing. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in roadway/bridge design, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and an NC PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• NC Professional Engineer license required.
• Minimum 10 years of roadway/bridge design experience.
• Experience with intersections, roundabouts, interchanges and bike/ped facilities.
• Open Roads Designer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and design services for transportation projects for municipal agencies and NCDOT.
• Manage design, provide senior-level functional designs, and QC for roadway geometry, drainage, work zone traffic control, pavement markings, and signing.
• Coordinate with client management, other engineering disciplines, and marketing teams.
• Lead project meetings and manage scopes, fees, schedules, staffing, risks, subcontracts, and invoices.
• Mentor supporting civil design staff and interface with client staff.
