Job summary

RICK Engineering Company in Irvine, CA seeks a Principal Civil Project Engineer/Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team on landmark projects. You will collaborate with clients and public agencies to turn dreams into reality while shaping infrastructure scores of tomorrow.

Qualified candidates hold a BSCE, CA PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) and 8–12 years of experience, including at least 3 years in management. Expect oversight of schedules, budgets, and contracts.

Qualifications

• BSCE degree required
• CA Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
• 8–12 years of relevant experience, or 12–15 years equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage construction documents and contracts
• Oversee construction support and field coordination
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
• Interact with clients and public agencies
• Manage design and support staff
• Perform conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies
• Prepare regulatory and public improvement plans
• Conduct constructability reviews
