Job summary

RICK Engineering Company in San Diego, CA seeks an Assistant Project Engineer/Manager to guide infrastructure for multi-disciplinary teams on landmark projects in the West. You will mentor staff and collaborate with clients and agencies to turn visions into reality.

The role requires a BSCE, California PE, and at least five years of land development experience (or ten total). Strong communication, project scheduling, and cost control are essential, along with AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency.

Qualifications

• BSCE required and CA Professional Engineer registration preferred.
• Minimum five years land development experience or ten years total work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead design staff and manage budgets/schedules.
• Experience with public agency interactions and contract/scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering design and staff, provide technical mentorship and quality control.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
• Assist with contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
• Interact with clients and public agencies to coordinate projects.
