Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking a senior civil engineer to lead civil projects from planning through construction documentation in Houston. You will oversee grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design while coordinating with structural, architectural, and MEP teams to keep programs on track.

You will act as the main point of contact for civil scope and client coordination, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of civil engineering experience.
• Background in commercial, institutional, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of grading, stormwater retention and detention, hydrology, and utilities.
• Experience with permitting and agency coordination.
• PE license preferred or in progress.
• Excellent communication skills and experience leading teams.
