Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking a senior civil engineer to take ownership of land development projects. You will lead site design, permitting, and coordination from planning through construction, including grading, drainage, and infrastructure design.

You’ll perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, prepare SWPPPs, mentor junior staff, and help grow client relationships while balancing multiple priorities in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of site or civil engineering experience, preferably land development.
• PE license required.
• Experience in site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater, infrastructure, and erosion/sediment control.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site and civil design and permitting for a mix of public and private land development projects.
• Manage projects from early planning through construction; include grading, drainage, and infrastructure design.
• Carry out hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and prepare SWPPP documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership on team planning and project resourcing.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support new business efforts.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to project delivery.
