Job summary

The Thomas Young Group is seeking a PE-licensed Civil Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to lead land development projects from design through permitting. You will prepare site civil plans, design stormwater systems, and review sewer connections while collaborating with clients, municipalities, and internal teams.

You’ll use Civil 3D for design and plan production, contribute to proposals, and help grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• 5–10 years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong background in land development and site civil work.
• Experience with stormwater, septic, and sewer design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and site grading.
• Comfortable managing projects and speaking directly with clients.
• Interest in contributing to business development and growing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage land development projects from design through permitting.
• Prepare and review site civil plans including grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Design stormwater systems, septic layouts, and sewer connections.
• Use Civil 3D for design and plan production.
• Work directly with clients, municipalities, and internal teams.
• Support proposals and help maintain client relationships.
• Keep projects on track in terms of scope, schedule, and quality.
