Job summary

ARM Group LLC is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer with land development experience to join our Energy & Power Practice in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will develop calculations, reports, and design drawings for permit applications and construction bids, and coordinate with regulators, clients, and project managers.

The role requires a PE license in the Mid-Atlantic, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• PE license in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia or other Mid-Atlantic state(s).
• 5+ years of experience designing and permitting land development or land use projects.
• Experience with stormwater management and erosion & sediment control design and permitting (NPDES).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and MS Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to managers, clients, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculations, reports and design drawings for permit applications and construction bid packages for Energy & Power projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Develop project timelines, maintain schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and help complete projects on time and within budget.
• Mentor teammates supporting engineering designs and permit applications to obtain regulator approvals.
• Coordinate design and permitting of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prepare designs and permit applications to obtain land-use approvals.
• Present projects at public meetings/hearings and respond to technical questions.
• Work with the team to develop proposals and improve internal processes.
