Job summary

ARM Group LLC is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer with land development experience to join our Energy & Power Practice in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will lead calculations, reports, and design drawings for permit applications and construction bids, interfacing with regulators and clients.

You will develop project timelines, manage schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and mentor teammates. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to deliver projects on time and

Qualifications

• PE license in PA, MD, VA or nearby mid-Atlantic state(s).
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college.
• 5+ years in land development or land use permitting.
• Experience with stormwater and erosion/sediment control design and permitting (NPDES).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with regulators and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculations, reports, and design drawings for permit applications and bids for Energy & Power projects in the Mid-Atlantic.
• Create project timelines, manage schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and help keep projects on time and within budget.
• Mentor teammates on engineering designs and permit applications for regulatory approvals.
• Coordinate design and permitting of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prepare designs and permit applications to secure land use approvals.
• Present projects at public meetings and answer technical questions.
