Qualifications

• Current registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois OR current registration as a Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois.
• Four years of experience in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the district's Annual and Multi-Year Highway Improvement Programs.
• Coordinate scoping activities and prepare programming cost estimates.
• Coordinate data necessary to maintain PPS records.
• Coordinate the status of annual and MYP data with Planning and Programming.
• Monitor the condition of the highway network and improvement needs.
• Coordinate GIS mapping projects for district staff.
• Review plans to ensure alignment with the MYP.
• Follow departmental safety rules and treat all employees fairly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
