Job summary

McMillen, Inc. in Newport Beach, CA seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager with a PE license and 15+ years of water resources experience to lead multidisciplinary teams on dam, flood control, and water treatment projects.

The PM will drive delivery from concept through commissioning, cultivate client relationships, and pursue new opportunities. Domestic travel up to 25% is expected in this on-site role within a growing, employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• PE license required; NCEES registration preferred.
• 15+ years of water resources experience.
• 7+ years of Project Management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering codes, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on water resources projects.
• Define deliverables, build project teams, manage scope changes, and monitor progress.
• Oversee planning, design, and construction support for fisheries, hydropower, dams, flood control, pump stations, and water treatment.
• Collect and analyze field data, as-built drawings, and reports to assess conditions and criteria.
• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
• Identify opportunities and prepare competitive proposals.
