Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to lead Civil Engineering projects from conception to completion. You will coordinate with Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural teams to develop construction documents and respond to inquiries during construction administration.

You will manage multiple projects for diverse clients, oversee budgets, and mentor Project Engineers and Designers while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional licensure (P.E.) would be a plus but is not required.
• 10+ years of Civil Engineering Project Management experience on site/civil projects.
• MS Office proficiency and experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects for multiple clients, ensuring timelines are met.
• Serve as the lead point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee financial performance, including profit, efficiency, and AR management.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, manage budgets, and schedule within parameters.
• Identify design criteria and supervise efficient design and plan preparation.
• Apply engineering calculations and standard design practices to solve problems.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external project team members.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Designers.
• Follow QA/QC practices and pursue continuous quality improvements.
• Foster client relationships and seek growth opportunities.
• Participate in new client pursuits and business development.
• Able to assess constructability and identify liability risks in design and construction.
