Job summary

Core States Group in the United States seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects from concept through construction. You will coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural teams to develop construction documents and ensure project success.

You will supervise task assignments, monitor progress, and maintain client relationships to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
• P.E. license preferred but not required
• 10+ years of Civil Engineering Project Management experience in site/civil production
• MS Office required
• Experience working in Civil 3D and AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects for multiple clients and ensure timelines are met
• Serve as lead point of contact for clients
• Manage project financials including profit, efficiency, and AR
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants
• Manage project plans, budgets, resources, and scheduling
• Identify design criteria and oversee efficient design and plan preparation
• Solve design problems using engineering calculations and standards
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external project teams
• Mentor Project Engineers and Designers
• Follow QA/QC practices and seek quality improvements
• Foster client relationships and pursue growth opportunities with clients
• Participate in new client pursuits
• Assess constructability and liability risks on design and construction
