Job summary

KBJW currently seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager to lead multiple land development projects in Richmond, VA. The role emphasizes planning, budgeting, and timely delivery while ensuring quality engineering practices.

You will manage diverse teams across locations, develop client relationships, and contribute to business growth. Ideal candidates bring a BS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of PM experience, a PE license, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepares proposals, participates in proposal interviews and presentations.
• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work
• Manages design team including staff from multiple locations and/or disciplines.
• Responsible for coordinating multiple project completions within budget and on schedule
• Responsible for initiating client billing, handles scope changes and contract administration.
• Reviews contracts and flags non-standard areas of concern for supervisor and/or Director's review and approval.
• Can independently perform assignments.
• Mentors other staff and assumes training responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain client relationships in order to obtain future work
• Business Development to grow client base
