Baker Law Group in Austin, Texas is seeking an accomplished Senior Civil Litigation Associate to join our growing Texas litigation team. This full-time, hybrid role requires 5+ years of meaningful civil litigation experience and the ability to independently manage cases, develop litigation strategy, advise clients, and handle complex matters with limited supervision.

Our practice covers business, real estate, construction, contract, employment, defamation, and other commercial disputes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience
• Independent management of litigation matters
• Experience in hearings, mediations, and courtroom settings
• Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills
• Civil procedure, discovery, and motion practice knowledge

Responsabilités

• Independently manage civil litigation matters from evaluation through resolution
• Develop litigation strategy aligned with client objectives and risk
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions and manage discovery strategies
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and settlements
• Prepare matters for trial and participate in trial proceedings
• Maintain clear communication with clients and supervise junior staff
• Mentor less-experienced attorneys in strategy and case preparation
