Baker Law Group seeks an accomplished Texas civil litigator to serve as Managing Partner for the Austin office. You will build the office, develop a team, and shape the firm’s long-term Texas strategy, maintaining an active civil litigation caseload and supervising attorneys.

The role calls for entrepreneurial growth, sound legal judgment, and hands-on management, with leadership of a high-performing Texas operation driving client value and revenue.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience practicing in Texas, with substantial civil litigation experience.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, mentor, or develop other attorneys and legal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Build the Austin office and establish the firm’s Texas hub.
• Lead and develop attorneys, mentor staff, ensure client service excellence.
• Shape the team with hiring, onboarding, and staffing decisions.
• Set expectations for case strategy, deadlines, and quality across the practice.
• Guide expansion as the firm grows its Texas caseload and capabilities.
• Collaborate with firm leadership, operations, marketing, and support staff.
