Job summary

Ember Grey is seeking an experienced Civil & Geotechnical Engineering Lead for a major copper mining development project in Arizona. You will direct civil, geotechnical, tailings and earthworks activities, acting as the Owner’s technical representative from feasibility through construction to commissioning.

This senior role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, managing consultants/contractors, and delivering safe, cost-effective designs within an IPD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in mining, heavy industry, infrastructure, or major capital projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage consultants/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil, geotechnical, tailings, and earthworks engineering across the project area.
• Act as Owner's technical representative, ensuring designs meet objectives, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee tailings facilities, site grading, drainage, roads, foundations, utilities, water management and earthworks.
