Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a large-scale copper mining operation in Arizona. The role acts as the site's subject matter expert across capital projects, with working knowledge of PLCs, radio communications and control systems.

You will lead electrical engineering initiatives, drive AFEs and capital funding, and advise site management on relevant regulations. Role requires on-site work 4 weeks on / 1 week off, with accommodation and transportation provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus five years of related experience; or Master's degree plus three years of related experience.
Experience in mining and/or large industrial or construction projects.
Advanced degree or PE certification highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Review and investigate assigned engineering projects and develop recommendations.
Manage large or complex site planning, construction, expansion, and modification projects as the subject matter expert.
Advise site management on processes, practices and local, state, and federal regulations.
Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting for designated engineering areas.
Develop and evaluate AFEs for capital funding requests.
