Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (IL) or Licensed Structural Engineer (IL).
• Five years of civil engineering experience.
• Preferred: supervision of engineering functions and strong communication with the public.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff of resident engineers and technicians on highway construction projects.
• Ensure construction is built per plans, specs, and policies within cost targets.
• Maintain complete documentation for timely project acceptance and finalization.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with central and district bureaus to resolve technical issues.
• Train, motivate, and evaluate personnel.
• Adhere to safety rules and promote equitable treatment of employees.
