Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a Senior Estimator in Nashville to operate with minimal oversight on preconstruction teams. You will lead estimating activities for earthwork, paving, underground utilities, and structures on transit, civil infrastructure, and highway projects.

You will prepare detailed take-offs, solicit quotes, develop cost estimates, and close out bids, coordinating junior staff and interfacing with design teams and owners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates.
• Solicit quotes and prepare supplier bid packages.
• Coordinate junior estimators and interns in takeoff and vendor processes.
• Assist in obtaining firm quotes from material suppliers, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Lead reviews and provide thorough explanations of estimates.
