Huitt-Zollars is seeking a Civil Engineering Vice President and Managing Principal to lead our Denver office. The role requires PE, 10+ years of A/E experience, and proven PIC performance.

You will drive project delivery, client relations, and local business development while mentoring principals and ensuring quality across projects. In-office role based in Denver, CO, with salary range $180,000–$210,000 plus incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Professional Licensed Engineer (PE) or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years A/E experience.
• Must currently be operating as a Principal in Charge (PIC).
• Proven track record of profitable operations and leadership.
• Active community involvement and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Practice Area in a local geographic market.
• Serves as PIC on civil engineering projects and mentor to Principals.
• Drive pursuit of new business and manage sales goals.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to QMS/brand guidelines.
• Oversee utilization targets and staff assignment across projects.
• Lead local business development activities and community engagement.
