Job summary

DCI Engineers in Missoula, MT is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead site development and civil projects, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate across teams to deliver high‑quality construction documents.

You will develop proposals, manage workloads, review designs, and build lasting client relationships while contributing to business development and marketing efforts across the firm. A ABET‑accredited civil engineering degree and PE license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM Designers.
• Desire to build strong client relationships and provide excellent service.
• Effective communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to market yourself and DCI to new and existing clients.
• Proven client relationship skills with the ability to support business development and pursuit of new work.
• PE license required; Civil Engineering degree from ABET-accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and civil engineering projects, including preparation of engineering documents.
• Prepare fee proposals and contracts.
• Develop workload and scheduling projections for project staff.
• Oversee site development design: grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, and road design.
• Perform or oversee construction support services and review submittals.
• Coordinate design details with engineers and drafting teams; communicate with contractors.
