Job summary

DCI Engineers in Coeur d'Alene, ID, seeks a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead complex building projects, mentor junior engineers, and foster client relationships. You will apply your civil engineering degree and hands-on experience to direct project documents, workflows, and construction support.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, delivery of high-quality civil designs, and ensuring project success through strong communication and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 5 years of civil engineering project management experience.
• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• PE license is required.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and civil engineering projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop, coordinate, and direct production of project documents.
• Prepare fee proposals and contracts for clients.
• Develop workload and scheduling projections for project staff.
• Oversee site development design: grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, road design.
• Provide or oversee construction support services and submittal reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers and drafting teams on design details.
• Review drafting and communicate with contractors during construction.
• Evaluate additional service requests and coordinate permit responses.
