Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Civil Project Engineer who will act as a Development Project Manager in Bozeman/Billings, MT. Lead design efforts for low to moderate complexity civil projects and collaborate with senior staff on larger work to deliver solutions within budget and timelines.

Required BS in Civil Engineering and PE license with 5+ years of civil/ construction experience. Strong communication, collaboration, and MS Office skills are important.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 5 years minimum experience; 6+ preferred in civil engineering and construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering calculations and analyses.
• Support water/sewer system designs for private and municipal projects.
• Prepare grading and stormwater designs for site plans.
• Coordinate permit applications with municipalities.
• Lead design, QA/QC, and progress tracking per IMEG standards.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to deliver solutions.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
