Job summary

DCI Engineers Inc. in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Structural Engineering Project Manager to lead building projects from start to finish.

You will apply your structural engineering background and hands-on experience to manage projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality construction documents and client solutions. The role requires strong communication skills, time management, and the ability to coordinate with BIM Designers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of structural project management experience and 4+ years of structural design experience.
• Civil Engineering degree from ABET-accredited university and PE license required.
• Experience with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry; seismic retrofits.
• Strong communication and time-management skills; mentor junior engineers.
• Master’s degree and SE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead building projects from start to finish, develop documents, and prepare contracts.
• Develop workload and scheduling projections for project staff.
• Oversee calculations, design, and analysis of project elements.
• Coordinate with BIM Designers to align design details.
• Perform construction observations and review shop drawings.
• Manage client relationships and respond to additional service requests.
