GAI Consultants Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager 2 (Civil) for its Power Business Unit’s Civil and Environmental sector.

The role emphasizes client development, staff leadership, and civil engineering expertise across diverse projects. The ideal candidate brings 18+ years of civil engineering experience and a PE license, with a track record in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing project scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in Civil Engineering.
• PE licensure across multiple states preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients.
• Lead business development pursuits, craft scopes, schedules, budgets, and fees.
• Develop marketing understanding of GAI's services and plan business growth.
• Serve as primary seller/doer for Civil and Environmental sector across the Mid-Atlantic.
• Provide design leadership and technical direction on multi-discipline projects.
• Lead teams to successful project execution and monitor costs to meet budget.
