Job summary

GAI Consultants, a growing multi-discipline firm, is seeking a Civil Engineer 3 to join the Power Business Unit. This role can be fully remote or based from any office location, with flexible work options for energy, institutional, industrial and manufacturing projects.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of experience, a B.S. or M.S. in engineering, and a PE license, plus strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills. Mentoring, teamwork, and clear communication are essential, with occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• PE license held or eligible with multi-state reciprocity.
• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering required.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience in related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and facilitate civil engineering tasks for site grading, drainage, and stormwater.
• Collaborate with team members and others to meet project requirements.
• Develop detailed designs using computer programs and ensure compliance with client, env, and safety standards.
• Mentor less experienced staff and support project budgets and schedules.
• Travel occasionally to meet clients and offices (5%-10%).
