Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the Power Business Unit. The role involves planning, designing, and coordinating civil engineering tasks for energy, institutional, and manufacturing clients.

You will work in a fast-paced team environment and contribute to project design, feasibility studies, and client communications. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a BS or MS in Engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering is required.
• PE license is preferred or required depending on state reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and facilitate civil engineering tasks including site grading, drainage, and stormwater design.
• Perform technical and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with team members and other professionals.
• Develop detailed designs using computer programs.
• Ensure compliance with client, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Mentor less experienced staff and review their work.
• Travel to client meetings and other offices (5–10%).
