Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to oversee engineers in the development of plans and projects across energy, transportation, development, government and industrial sectors. The role involves financial monitoring and acting as the client representative, with State Agency experience required and PE licensure preferred.

This position offers on-site or hybrid work at our offices across several states and includes eligibility for a sign-on bonus,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in managing traffic and engineering projects.
• PE Registration is required with ability to attain PE in additional surrounding states.
• Experience working with State Agencies is required; Design-Build experience preferred.
• Leadership responsibilities including oversight of engineers, project management and client representation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in development of plans, financial monitoring, and client representation.
• Lead projects with complex features across multiple disciplines.
• Integrate engineering economics and risk analysis into solutions.
• Manage project objectives, budgets, and staffing across practices.
• Serve as Project Manager for select projects with approvals up to $150,000 per year.
