Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking a technically diversified Civil/Environmental Senior Engineering Manager 1 for our Power Generation Environmental Engineering Group.

This role supports planning, design, permitting, and engineering services for civil/site, water resources and water/wastewater on power facilities, with hybrid work in Western PA (Homestead or Cranberry). The ideal candidate brings 16+ years of experience, a PE license, and strong leadership and client-facing skills to drive complex

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Environmental or Civil Engineering; MS preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Project management experience 5+ years.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and strong comms.
• Ability to lead teams and manage budgets/schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise entry to mid-experienced specialists and EITs.
• Lead environmental compliance projects and permit strategies.
• Manage multi-disciplinary design for civil/site and water/wastewater on power projects.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, and man-hour estimates.
• Domestic travel up to 10%.
