GAI Consultants Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager 2 (Civil) to lead civil/environmental activities within the Power Business Unit. The role emphasizes developing client relationships, staff management, and civil engineering expertise across diverse projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Qualifications

18+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in multiple states.
Experience leading multi‑discipline teams and projects.

Responsibilities

Build solid relationships with Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients and internal clients within GAI's sectors.
Lead business development pursuits and develop statements of qualifications, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and fees.
Develop a deep understanding of and market the services GAI performs.
Collaborate, develop, and execute a business plan for growth.
Serve as primary seller/doer for the Civil and Environmental Business Sector in the Mid-Atlantic.
Provide design, management, and technical direction for civil components on multi-discipline projects.
Lead teams to successfully execute all assigned projects.
Work with Accounting to monitor project costs and billings to meet budgets.
