Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital's Utah client seeks a Sr. Civil Engineering Manager to mentor a growing team of engineers, deliver projects on time and on budget, and uphold high engineering standards.

Requirements include a PE license, a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management, 7–10+ years of progressive engineering experience with 3+ in supervision, and CAD/CAE proficiency with safety/regulatory codes. Travel ~10%; Logan/Salt Lake City/Vernal on-site.

Qualifications

• Active PE license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive engineering experience with at least 3+ years in supervision.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE design software, engineering codes, and safety/regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, manage, and empower a team of engineers, developing each person to their full potential.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance alongside strategic project planning and resource management.
• Drive project delivery on time and within budget, managing engineering budgets and priorities.
• Work closely with divisional teams to manage a heavy and growing workload.
• Ensure designs and deliverables meet engineering codes and safety/regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA).
• Travel approximately 10% to project sites and company locations.
