Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital's client is seeking a Civil Engineering Manager in Utah to lead and grow a civil engineering team across municipal, water/wastewater, and land development projects. You will balance hands-on technical guidance with project delivery and mentorship.

The role requires an active PE license, a bachelor's degree, 7–10+ years of civil engineering experience, and 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Active PE license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7-10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or management role leading teams and budgets.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE design software and regulatory/safety fluency (OSHA, EPA).
• U.S. Person required; visa sponsorship not available.

Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 + bonus, DOE

Your Role:

You'll balance hands-on technical guidance with project delivery and team leadership, mentoring a growing group of engineers while helping drive the division's continued expansion.

What You'll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of civil engineers

• Manage project budgets and schedules alongside technical teams

What You'll Bring:

• Active PE (Professional Engineer) license
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 7-10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person and be able to work without visa sponsorship
