Job summary

Requirements include a PE license, a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management, 7–10+ years of progressive engineering experience with 3+ in supervision, and CAD/CAE proficiency with safety/regulatory codes. Travel ~10%; Logan/Salt Lake City/Vernal on-site.

• Ensure designs and deliverables meet engineering codes and safety/regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA).
• Travel approximately 10% to project sites and company locations.

$150,000 - $180,000 (DOE) + bonus

Your Role:

The Sr. Civil Engineering Manager is a senior engineering leader who balances hands‑on technical guidance, project delivery, and people leadership. You will mentor and grow a team of engineers inside a fast‑growing engineering division, working closely with divisional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high engineering standards.

What You'll Do:

• Mentor, manage, and empower a team of engineers, developing each person to their full potential
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance alongside strategic project planning and resource management
• Drive project delivery on time and within budget, managing engineering budgets and priorities
• Work closely with divisional teams to manage a heavy and growing incoming workload
• Ensure designs and deliverables meet engineering codes and safety/regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA)
• Travel approximately 10% to project sites and company locations

What You'll Bring:

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 7-10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role leading engineering teams
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE design software, engineering codes, and safety/regulatory standards
• Proactive, positive leadership style; a genuine mentor who is team-oriented and comfortable in a high‑growth environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; local candidates preferred, relocation possible for the right fit
